Elena Zhurikhina is a young art
photographer from Moscow, Russia. She was born in 1975. Nudes make up much
of her work, seeing them as an ideal tool in which to express herself, as
well as that of the spirit of womanhood. "Nudity is attractive",
she says, "because when people are nude they become themselves, they
don't hide their mood, and that's more interesting than traditional
portraits." Elena also shoots portraits, does portfolio work for
models, and does advertising work.
The year 2002 was her "coming out", and was very successful for
her. In May and June she took part in four organized exhibitions, of which
was the Suncoast Virtual in Clearwater, Florida. From June through
October, she had a personal showing, called Woman's View, at the
Photovision Photo Club in Moscow. In November, she took part in an
international exhibition, Salone Athesis - Internet Digital Photo 2002,
in Padova, Italy.

multiexposure technique, was exhibited in several cities of Khanty-Mansi
