I
was born in the US, but I grew up in Japan and Germany. I came to the U.S.
to study filmmaking, and became a television documentary and commercial
filmmaker. My first love however, will always be still photography. As an
interviewer and visual artist, I find that working with people makes me
happiest. I find that almost everybody is beautiful, but what I feel is
most incredible, is people who are completely comfortable with themselves
in front of the camera, clothed or nude. I have been working for a while
on an extensive series featuring my friend Es, who has been the most
incredible inspiration to my work as a photographer.
