Juergen Specht is a photographer
who is less interested in promoting himself than in creating spectacular
shots for the benefit and glory of his models. The ideas for each session
are developed in cooperation with his beautiful subjects, and maybe this
is the reason his models have so much fun working with him (just read the quotation
page at his website). He loves to play with light, to improvise and to
enhance female bodies, so you find a lot of body painting, glossy skin and
other modifications in his work. For example, in the cow picture in this
exhibit, the model is pregnant and he used green turf to simulate the
grass on her skin.
His unique and eclectic style make for an interesting body of work and
Juergen is currently seeking out book publishers who may be interested in
working with him.
