photographer Fréderic Levar lives in Amsterdam. After a career in advertising
and as a film director he gave in to his photographic ambitions and became
a photographer. Although he shot an occasional photo during his career,
photography was never his main activity as it is now. Now, he studies landscapes
in the region of his French house and rarely leaves
home without his camera. Fréderic admires the work of photographers such
as Nobuyoshi Araki, JeanLoup Sieff, China Hamilton, and Jean Paul Four.
The start of his fine art nude and fetish photography
was when he met his current muse. They are working together on a book which
most likely will be called Le Visage de ma Soumuse. It will
show the results of intense photo-sessions that Fréderic says sometimes
have the character of a mating-dance.
