Peter Igel
Peter Igel is a German freelance photographer. He was born in 1984. After leaving High School he completed an apprenticeship in IT and thereafter commenced work in his father's family-run business as a technical consultant and sales executive. In 2004 he purchased a digital camera and soon afterwards was commissioned to shoot a photo assignment for a couple. He soon discovered the limitations of his entry-level camera and upgraded to a high-end DSLR system.
Since that initial shoot he's developed into a serious photographer, and even has his own studio. He specializes in nude, portraiture and fashion photography.
When asked about his work, Peter remains humble. "I have to like a photograph. It does not matter whether the subject is a beautiful woman or a stunning landscape, I just have to be happy with it. I am who I am, I follow my own style in life, and I do the same in photography."
