Chris
Hopkins
Chris
Hopkins is an English surrealist artist who pretends to be an IT
consultant during the day. He
has been taking photographs since he picked up his father's old manual
35mm Minolta SR-101 at the age of 18.
Sixteen years later, with little time to spare, he turned to
digital photography in January 2004 with the intention of turning his
"hobby" into something a little more serious.
For Chris the female form presents the new challenge of presenting
a physical beauty while bringing out the beauty of the spirit within.
In art his style has been strongly influenced by Joan Miro and
Peter Lorenz, through his photographs, inspired him to make his first
study of the artistic nude.
