My
passion for photography began when I was very young; from there it has
grown into more than just a dream but a pursuit for the perfect shot at
the perfect moment. I began shooting landscape photographs in
1996 during my first trip to Colorado. With my love for the outdoors it
was not hard to find excitement in capturing the breathtaking mountain
scenery on film. In the years following I became more obsessed with learning
what I could about photography to feed my growing passion.
As a self-taught
photographer I have found no limits to what I am able to create. Through
trial and error I have created style that I can honestly
call my own. It was during this process of artistic development that I
learned to open my mind and learn from the surrounding environment.
A few of my favorite photographers are: Ansel Adams, Jim
Brandenburg, Sante D'Orazio, and Helmut Newton.
A few years ago I decided
to incorporate female nudes into my landscape photographs. I’ve always
loved the curves and beauty of the female form so this was an easy addition
to the natural beauty of the outdoors. When I get the chance I still find
enjoyment in shooting landscapes photographs, but for now, the majority
of my photography is black & white artistic nudes.
