Keith Furon
D.
Keith Furon was born in 1952, in Los Angeles, California. He studied
at U.C. Berkeley, Edison State College, and U.C.L.A. As an art director
and creative director, he has won over 200 national and international awards
for his work. He has also published six books, with his most recent book
being nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Much of his work has been sold through
Sotheby's Auction House, and his work is also available through the Fraser
Gallery in Washington (Georgetown) DC, and Bethesda, MD. His work is also
part of the permanent collections of The Boulder Museum of Contemporary
Art, in Boulder, Colorado, and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Furon's
photography (including the book's cover shot) is included in J.T. Kirkland’s
book Thinking About Art: The One Word Project.
