Edward Eikeis Edward
Eikeis is an artist and photographer currently residing in Southwest
Florida. From an early age he was fascinated with cameras and was given a
Kodak Instamatic for his sixth birthday. In his teens he apprenticed to an
Army and newspaper photographer, who introduced him to the 35mm system and
darkroom processing. By age of 17, he had completed his first wedding
assignment. With the advent of digital photography, he found renewed
inspiration after purchasing a Sony Mavica in 1997. Since that time he has
owned and used Kodak, Olympus, Nikon, and Canon digital cameras. He
currently uses the Canon 1D Mark II. His stock photography has appeared on
hundreds of websites worldwide, but his favorite subject remains feminine
beauty in all its mystery and fascination. The subjects themselves often
profess lavish praise for his work and the soft, natural light that has
become his signature portrait style.
