          Chan
       David
      Chan
was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan in 1962 and has always been an artist
at heart. For the past 20 years, he's been an amateur
      photographer
with a particular passion for sensual and erotic photography. In 1997,
he had a chance meeting with a stills photographer in the movie industry
named, Rob McEwan. Over time, a beautiful friendship developed and Rob
      became David's mentor. Without
      Rob’s
inspiration and education about the finer points of photography, David
feels that he would not be the creative photographic artist that he is
      today.

      David professes great
      satisfaction
in shooting abstracts, and glamour, as well as alternative lifestyle nudes
and feels enormous gratification when people enjoy viewing his photographic
works of art. Although most of his photography is of naked bodies, the
expression on the models face is the most significant point for him, conveying
the mood of art. As he maintains, "My aim for each of my photographic
images is to evoke the senses of the viewer with emotions, sensuality,
      eroticism,
etc. As artistic images consistently fill my mind, as a photographer, I
can’t create alone. Team work is a must and more importantly the chemistry
of all participants in a photo session must be there in order to produce
      my best works."

He goes on to say, "
I have been blessed with my wife Norma, who supports my
efforts and is involved in every photo session as the stylist, hair and
make-up artist, choreographer of poses and she is also great at relaxing
the models. Both my wife and I enjoy collaborating with like-minded people
to create unique images for display in galleries, sale in limited edition
prints or for their own private collection. My enthusiasm and commitment
in artistic photography constantly pushes me to new grounds."

Presently, David is arranging to do a show of his work in Prague.
