Appel is an alumni of San Francisco State and the San Francisco Art Institute.
He is a photographer whose style incorporates experimentation, discarded
trends, and a sense of story. His backgrounds as a film maker and sculptor
provide a base for his unique approach to fashion and art photography.
Aside from photographing all over the USA, his work has started showing
internationally.
