Born in London, England, Barry Wetherilt has been a keen photographer
since the age of eight when he was presented with his own Kodak Brownie.
Since childhood he was
always fascinated by uncomplicated subjects, and as an adult has grown
to appreciate the female form in all its natural beauty. He only works
with models whom he feels a certain empathy for and who bring an extra
dimension to his craft. He mainly works at his Victorian home in London,
with its magnificent natural lighting. All
his work is now digital and admits to doing very little image manipulation,
preferring results that portray women as they really are.
