Thompson
Filmmaker,
photographer, and all-around artsy guy, David Thompson is considered by
many to be one of America's leading glamour photographers. He is also an
accomplished fine art photographer and the nude plays a prominent role in
that body of work as well. He was one of the first big names to rise to
the top of the online world in the mid 90's and his work can still be seen
"everywhere". Several of his models became underground icons,
which exemplifies both his eye for talent as well as his superb
photographic skills.
The heady days of the internet might be over and the playing field might
be a bit more occupied than it used to be, but David Thompson continues to
stand out, plying his craft with the sense of a destined master. When it
comes to the nude, his grasp on the subject is so profound, that his work
is easily identified as a "David Thompson" while at the same
time being something wholly original. It' a unique gift.
