Paco
Rosso
Paco
Rosso was born in southern Spain in 1965. He now lives in Cadiz. He's been
intrigued with photography since he was a boy, and in addition to working
as an electrical engineer, has worked not only as a photographer but also
has done translation work and taught architectural visualization. He says
he's a student of light and color and recently published a book that he
describes as a technical journey into photographic lighting.
Paco considers the great artists as his mentors, from Piero della
Francesca to Frank Horvat, stopping at Antonello de Messina, Da Vinci,
Vermeer, Zuloaga, and Romero de Torres. His vision of the nude is a girl
who knows her beauty, who knows her value, who says in effect, "Look
at me, do you like? Then, work to earn it".
