Jacek
Pomykalski graduated from the Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Poland with a Master's Degree in Oriental Philology, but he has been working as a
freelance photographer for the last couple of years. He operates a studio
in the beautiful city of Krakow. His works are greatly influenced, he
says, by the photographs of Man Ray and his followers, such as Wynn Bullock.
Jacek loves portrait photography and considers fine art nudes as the most intimate
form of portraiture. Posing nude for pictures requires a model to open up and trust the photographer
completely, he maintains, and adds that it is very difficult to achieve such
an open attitude, and not every model is capable of it. But when it does
happen, the most interesting images can be created.

All
black & white prints are hand-printed for each order. Prints are
limited to editions of 5,7,9 (depending on size) with 2 artist
proofs. A Certificate of Authenticity is supplied with each
order. Processing is to museum archival standards on heavy-weight
fine art fiber papers ILFORD MGF.5K Multigrade IV FB, selenium
toned. All prints are titled, dated, numbered and signed in ink on
the verso. The finished print is mounted on acid free white board
and double matted ready for framing.
