Nagle
The
first thing one notices when reviewing Public Nudists is how big it is.
Oversized and thick it is a huge book of color photography that perhaps
mimics the grandiose nature of its subject matter. Documenting the
activities of avid nudists, Dieter Nagel has created what might be the
ultimate tribute to naturism and it's healthy, wholesome lifestyle. His
festive use of color accentuates the carnival-like atmosphere that
pervades much of the work. It's great fun (especially noteworthy are the
portraits of couples).
At the beach and other natural settings, nudists are captured playing
volleyball, playing croquet, jumping, leaping, swimming, and engaged in
numerous other activities. Anyone who appreciates this lifestyle or the
human body in general will love this book.
