Carney Malone
Carney Malone started shooting female nudes at the relatively advanced age of 62. He uses nude photography to explore concepts and relationships. He has devoted a large part of his work to exploring the concept of Narcissism. He is also intrigued by the relationship of facial expressions to body language.
Carney admires the photographic work of Eadweard Muybridge, Albert Arthur Allen, William Cheney Johnston, Man Ray, Robert Mapplethrope and Helmut Newton. He's also influenced by artists such as Bruno Schulz, Rene Magritte, Marcel Duchamp and Salvatore Dali.
