Statement: While
living in Maryland in 1992, I was convicted of a felony Marijuana charge,
prohibiting my ability to vote. Determined to find a way out, I began
searching for information on the subject.
It quickly
evolved into a way to help create Cannabis awareness to the world so
that we can stop destroying lives and our planet. Jack Herer has been
a large inspiration into what I wanted to do. He has inspired me and
millions like me to demand change but, like others I couldn’t figure out how I could become
a larger than life influence as him. It wasn’t until after reading
his book “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” for the 420th time
it triggered a revelation.
One morning
in 1993, I thought about publishing 420 Magazine, a monthly publication
covering the lifestyles of the stoner culture. 420 Girls soon followed.
Both’s mission is to bring attention
to the most important cause ever known to mankind – legalizing Medical
Marijuana and Industrial Hemp by providing truth and solid information
through entertainment, and education.
“Women are the most precious
beings in the universe,” I had thought to myself, “Why not
invite them to carry this message to the world?”
The term
420 (pronounced four-twenty) started out as underground slang for its
users to secretly announce they had weed, or were about to smoke, and
it is believed that the first origins came from about the late sixties.
Today, it is a common slang used by millions worldwide. A 420 Girl
is a female who smokes weed. It’s no secret that sex sells and it’s thanks to the 420 Girls
for their dedication to this project. To help spread the word they donated
their creedal passion and time for this cause! We’ve got Playboy
Bunnies, Penthouse Pets, Amateur models and more, all promoting and standing
behind Mother Nature!
Special
thanks first and foremost to you the readers of my book. Also much
respect to the members and viewers of my websites and the amazing growers
who let me use their gardens to shoot in and of course, my publisher
and all of the 420 Girls. I dedicate this book to Jack Herer, and our
continued mission to create cannabis awareness and to help the world
so we can end this ridiculous war on a plant.
