Falcon
Falcon, an American-born artist, intellectual, academic, and technologist began his foray in photography while in Basel, Switzerland in 2000. His early work included documentary photo essays on St Augustine’s Church in Brooklyn, the brownstone architecture of West Prospect Park (Brooklyn), as well as major projects that focus on loneliness, grief, and memory. A study of abandoned agricultural buildings begun in 2002, and remains a work in progress. He has won a number of awards for his work and has appeared in many publications in the Unites States as well as in numerous galleries.
He was educated at Fordham, Yale and Emory Universities and holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology. His influences range from Rembrandt to Nietzsche to Wittgenstein.
