Andreas
Ender
Already an accomplished painter
with several exhibits under his belt, Andreas Ender took up photography as
his new medium in 1992. He jumped right in and soon began to participate
in numerous national and international exhibitions. He learned by just
doing it, which is a noted character trait for him, and though the trial
& error of such an approach is costly and time consuming, the
attention and success he's received has proven him right. He's won
numerous awards for his work including the Golden Badge of Honor for
outstanding photographic achievement in Austria.
A few years ago he met Spencer Tunick, the photographer famous for his
mass nudes, and left the encounter further inspired and particularly
interested in performance photography. He's orchestrated several body
painting events, done a photo-marathon (28 hours of continuous shooting),
and shot at several performing arts events.
