Dawn
of the Rockies
Dawn
was exposed to art very early in her life. Her mother was an art student
who attended UCLA classes in drawing and painting. And as soon as she
could hold a crayon, Dawn was drawing just like her mother. She continued
to pursue her artistic interests and engaged in a variety of activities
while growing up. As a young adult she sold several pieces of pencil and
pastels. Dawn got her first modeling opportunity when she did an
assignment for Levis and it was about this time that she developed an
interest in photography. She initially shot motorcycle races and had some
of her pictures published in Colorado Cycle Scene and Cycle News
magazines. She has since been thoroughly involved on both sides of the
camera, working as a model for many of the most renown photographers in
the Colorado area.
