This
is one of the today's better instructionals' on shooting
nudes in general, and it's focus on shooting nudes with
digital cameras makes it especially useful. Roderick
MacDonald knows his stuff and there is really no weak
points anywhere in the book. He covers everything from
choosing the right digital camera to finding models to
camera techniques to image editing software to setting
up your own studio. And there's lots and lots more. What
makes everything all the more impressive is MacDonald's
photographs - this book is packed full of hundred of beautiful
nude shots and he uses some very attractive models
(which is not relevant to the material but is a nice
touch nonetheless). These are all works from MacDonald
himself, so it's quite apparent he walks the walk here.
All in all, this is an excellent introduction to the
medium and we recommend it for beginners all the way to
advanced amateurs.
The snapshots we've included are from MacDonald's piece
on COMPOSITION - and there are 47 additional sections
like this throughout the book covering almost every
aspect of digital nude photography.
